Learning Resource Center (LRC)

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is both a physical and a virtual place where students and faculty may access information resources.  Information may be available in the form of a book, a journal article found in a database, or a reliable web site.

Using the LRC will help IBC students and faculty with research projects.  Because it is organized by major subject areas, users can easily find the web sites and databases pertaining to specific research needs by just clicking on the link.  The subject areas reflect the programs offered at IBC and is designed with the needs of the IBC student in mind.

The databases listed are among the best that are available in the U.S. and are commonly used in colleges throughout the country.  The web sites are those that have been recommended by librarians or faculty and contain reliable, authoritative information.

As an IBC student or faculty member, you can log into your portal account and access the LRC.
