• Classes are 100% online, meaning if you don’t want or need to, you never have to visit a physical IBC campus.
• Indiana Business College uses an online learning management system to allow students to access online classes. As an online student, you’ll be given a username and a password and you’ll receive a class schedule, syllabus, assignments, lecture materials, grading policies, quizzes and tests.
• Each class has its own individual instructor and you’ll be in a virtual classroom with nine to 40 other students from around the state, the country and the world! 
• You’ll be able to access classes 24 hours a day, seven days a week from wherever you have Internet access. You won’t have assigned times when you must log in to class; however, you will have specific assignments and activities that must be completed each week. You’ll also need to log in throughout the week to pick up announcements from your instructors.
• You’ll spend between 4-15 hours per class, per week. The time you spend on your classes varies depending on the classes you take and the assignments required for that week. 
• An individual’s learning curve also comes into play. Something that takes you two hours might take someone else six hours. Students who are most successful at taking classes online are those who plan a weekly schedule allotting time for work, family and a time when they plan to log in and work on their online coursework.
• Although you’ll have 24/7 access to your assignments, instructors enforce strict deadlines. Being able to meet deadlines before and after enrollment is critical to becoming a successful online student.
