Types of Financial Aid

If financial aid terms make your head spin, have no fear! The following will explain the different types of aid available to IBC students to help with tuition. Of course, you may contact IBC at any time for personal assistance.

Grants & Loans

The federal government provides many grants and loans for qualified school expenses such as tuition, books and fees.

Scholarships

Many scholarships are available based on need, academics or other factors and do not need to be repaid.

Federal Work Study Program

Qualified students may work for at least $8 per hour to help pay for tuition, books and fees.

Veterans and Military Benefits

IBC accepts all types of veterans and military benefits from all branches of the armed forces.

Employer Tuition Assistance and Reimbursement

If your employer offers tuition assistance or reimbursement, we will work directly with your Human Resources Department to secure it for you.
