IBC Graduate Profile

Because we are a career college, you can expect our graduates to have focused their classroom time on learning the skills they need to perform their jobs. In addition to those courses directly related to their future jobs, most will have taken a few other classes, such as communication or career development, so they’re even more prepared for success in the working world.

We hear words like these when employers describe our graduates:

- Reliable  - Dedicated  - Team player
- Well-prepared - Professional  - Good communicator
- Congenial - Positive  - Eager to learn

We try to make our classroom atmosphere as close to our students’ future jobs as possible. Our students are expected to arrive for class on time, avoid absences, and adhere to our school dress code…just as they will when they work for you.

To receive an IBC Degree, Diploma or Certificate, a student must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale; below average is not an option! Many programs require internships or externships, and are encouraged for students in all programs, so they will already have some working experience under their belt before you hire them. Finally, they cannot graduate without the recommendation by their instructors and the approval of their campus Executive Director. These requirements are our assurance to you that an IBC graduate is a ready employee.
