Enrollment Process for Online StudentsStudents who attend IBC 100% online (that is, do not attend any classes at an IBC campus) complete most admissions and enrollment steps online. Here, the online student's steps for enrollment are outlined. Step 1: Complete the Online Learning QuizTake our quick and easy questionnaire and find out more about yourself and online learning. Take the Online Learning Quiz >>
Step 2: Complete Scholastic Level Exam (SLE) for the Online StudentAll students, whether attending IBC online or at a campus, must take the SLE prior to enrollment. There is no fee to take it. Online students must take the SLE online. (Campus students take the SLE at the campus.) You'll first have to complete a short registration form so that your name and contact information is attached to your SLE results.
Step 3: Conduct Admissions InterviewAll new incoming students must conduct an interview with an IBC Admissions Representative. Students wishing to pursue their degree 100% online will conduct the admissions interview on the telephone. Call 888-544-4IBC.
Step 4: Complete Admissions Forms for the Online StudentEvery form a new student needs to fill out to apply for enrollment for an IBC Online Studies program is contained here. The first page you'll see is an "Electronic Signature Disclosure" acknowledgement form, which takes the place of your signature. Attention returning IBC online students: If you're a returning IBC online student who has been un-enrolled for less than 12 months and is seeking to re-enroll, you must complete a different set of Admissions Forms. Click here to go to the re-enrollment admissions forms. If you have been un-enrolled for more than 12 months, contact us at 888-544-4IBC to learn more about the enrollment process you'll follow.
Step 5: Pay $50 FeeImmediately after you complete the online admissions forms, you must pay the $50 application fee. Your application cannot be processed until payment is received, so immediate payment is recommended. This fee is non-refundable.
Step 6: Complete Financial Aid Forms for the Online StudentNew students are required to complete the financial aid forms contained here. The first page you'll see is an "Electronic Signature Disclosure" acknowledgement form, which takes the place of your signature. You should also be certain you have completed all the steps outlined in the Financial Aid Checklist for Online Students.
